Children’s Sojourn: "The Children's Silence Remembrance March"
On this 61st anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” youth of all ages will cross the Pettus bridge on the sidewalk, 2 by 2, quietly (as the marchers did in ‘65), stopping briefly to pray and drop flowers into the river. After crossing the bridge, we will board our buses for the Selma High School auditorium, where we will enjoy the Invisible Giants play, performance, and awards.
